THE LIGHTHOUSE INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY EXISTS TO ENABLE, EMPOWER AND EQUIP CHILDREN, BRINGING THEM HOPE FOR A BETTER TOMORROW.

The school was originally initiated to cater to our children at New Home, a project of Reaching Hand. The children come to us in a state where they are severely deprived of adequate (if any) education, and therefore it is difficult to mainstream them into regular schools. They need specialized teaching and support. In order to help our children, we decided to start a school for them.

What we do

Lighthouse International Academy is an educational institution set up in 2018 by Reaching Hand NGO. It comprises of devoted educationalists, whose primary aim is to impart excellent learning experiences and foster holistic development of the child. Lighthouse International Academy is affiliated to the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). The management and staff strive to do their best to guide the children entrusted to their care along the right path.

Let it Shine

The school currently has 135 students. In the forthcoming academic year we plan to take the number to 160, which will include students from the nearby villages and other group foster homes. We have classes from nursery to tenth grade under the NIOS scheme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India.
